Ginger

Ginger is a perennial plant used as a seasoning in cooking throughout the world. Ginger originated in China and soon spread to Africa, Asia, India and the Caribbean Ginger is a common ingredient in Chinese Food and used to flavor dishes like seafood or lamb.

Ginger is also used in candy, cookies, crackers and cakes, ginger ale and ginger beer.
