    Marini rose to fame staring in commercials for products like Coke, Budweiser and Mervins. His first major success came with the role of Dante, Samantha's potential love interest, in the Sex and the City movie. On February 8, 2009, ABC announced that Marini joined the cast of the long running show Dancing with the Stars.

    Marini reportedly sought medical treatment after experiencing groin pain during the rehearsal of Dancing with the Stars on February 27, 2009.
