    Prior to playing in the NFL, Wilson played college football with the Tennessee Volunteers. Playing in 26 games, he totaled 196 tackles, 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three interceptions.   • NFL Career

    After college, Wilson was selected 136th overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the New York Giants. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in eight games with the Giants, recording 56 tackles and three interceptions.     In 2008, Wilson signed with the Oakland Raiders. He played in all 16 games that season, recording a career-best 129 tackles. Wilson was released by the Raiders on February 20, 2009.
