A restaurant in Concord, New Hampshire set a new world record for largest meatball, baking a meatball that weighed in at 222.5 pounds.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDXj9Fjo_aw The previous record was held by Jimmy Kimmel, who weighed a meatball at 198.6 pounds on his show in September 2009.
Guiness Meatball Requirements
In order to qualify for the Guniess World Record title, the meatball must satisfy certain requirements:
1. It must be edible.
2. It must be made from standard meatball ingredients.
3. The recipe must be provide in both pounds and metric measurements.

222 lb Meatball Breaks Record

This CNN report shows the moment when the meatball was officially weighed, setting a new world record for largest meatball. To qualify, the meatball must be made from standard ingredients, be made in one day, and be edible.
