Ghostbusters: The Video Game is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS.
Development
Ghostbusters: The Video Game is being developed by Terminal Reality and published by Atari. The game was originally planned to be published by Vivendi Universal, but after the formation of Activision Blizzard (Vivendi's publisher), the game was dropped and subsequently went into limbo. Soon later, Atari announced that they would be publishing the game.
The game is being developed in close partnership with the original creative minds behind the Ghostbusters films. Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, who wrote the films, wrote the script for the game and conceived the story. They provide their voices and likenesses to the game, along with fellow Ghosbusters stars Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson.
