  • Ghost World is a 2001 film based on the graphic novel of the same name by Daniel Clowes about two teenage outcasts, Enid & Rebbecca (Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson respectively) and the pattern of their relationship as Enid becomes obsessed with an older man, Seymour (Steve Buscemi). While the movie didn't do spectacularly at the box office, it was a critical smash and went on to develop a "Cult" following, helping to launch the career of Johansson.
