Get Smart was an American comedy television series that satirized the secret agent genre. The show originally aired from 1965-1970 and was revived in 1995. A film version was released in June 2008.
Created by Buck Henry and Mel Brooks, the show featured Don Adams as Maxwell Smart, an agent for CONTROL, a secret U.S. government spy agency. Smart and his partner, Agent 99, faced off against KAOS, an equally inept spy agency from the Eastern bloc.
The sitcom was immensely popular and was awarded with seven Emmys and nominated for two Golden Globes.
