Get Smart is a 2008 film adaptation of the 1960s TV show of the same name. The movie stars Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. In the new version, Steve Carell plays "Maxwell Smart," an analyst for the secret government agency CONTROL. When the evil organization named KAOS infiltrates CONTROL's headquarters and compromises all of its agents' identities, CONTROL has no choice but to promote Max and make him a field agent. He teams up with "Agent 99," played by Anne Hathaway, and the two of them set out to bring KAOS down.
The original Get Smart series aired from 1965 to 1970, and starred Don Adams and Barbara Feldon.
