Gerardo Beltran is a former priest from Sacramento, California who fled the US in 1991 after allegations of sexually abusing two young girls. He was arrested on March 14, 2008 and charged with four counts of molestation. Up until his arrest, Beltran was hiding in a remote village in Mexico, where he openly practiced as a priest.
