Gerald Brisco

  • Gerald Brisco is a retired professional wrestler. He was in the profession of wrestling for over three decades. Brisco currently works backstage with WWE Raw, helping wrestlers develop onscreen personalities. Over the years Brisco won many championships and wrestled for several National Wrestling Alliance promotions. Brisco was overshadowed a lot by his older brother Jack Brisco's fame. Brisco and his five siblings were raised soley by their mother. Brisco rode his brothers coat tails into the sport of wrestling. He won an athletics scholarship to Oklahoma State University. In 1968 while on spring break, Brisco was staying with his brother Jack Brisco. Jack's partner injured himself and Brisco was asked to stand in for him even though he had no professional training. After that, Brisco dropped out of Oklahoma State University and entered the world of professional wrestling. Brisco's brother trained him, then picked him up as his tag team partner, debuting in 1969. The brothers were very successful with over 20 tag team championships in 13 years. During the May 18, 2000 episode of SmackDown, Brisco won his first WWF Championship against Crash Holly. Brisco's finishing and signature moves were, figure four leglock, double arm suplex, sleeper hold, Belly-to-back suplex, and the vertical suplex.
