Georgia Southern University is a public coeducational 4 year university offering both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

History

The First District A and M school was established in 1906. The institution would change names several times and in 1959, it became Georgia Southern College. The college would achieve university status in 1990 and become Georgia Southern University. Georgia Southern.edu: History
