Georgia College and State University is a public institution of higher learning located approximately 30 miles from Macon, Georgia. The "Bobcats" athletic program is part of the Peach Belt Athletic Conference.
History
From it's establishment in 1889 until 1967 the institution was a women's college. In 1996, the institution was named the Georgia College and State University. Gcsu.edu:History
