Georgia Championship Wrestling (GCW) was an American professional wrestling organization.

Representing the Georgia territory as part of the National Wrestling Alliance, Georgia Championship Wrestling gained popularity from its self-titled TV show on Ted Turner's WTBS.

In 1984, co-owners Jack and Jerry Brisco sold their GCW stock to Vince McMahon, owner of World Wrestling Entertainment. McMahon also bought the WTBS timeslot and broadcast WWE matches on what used to be GCW's show. The transition, which took place on what fans now call "Black Saturday," marked the end of the GCW organization.SLAM!
