George Tillman Jr is an African-American filmmaker whose breakout film was the 1997 film Soul Food starring Vanessa Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Nia Long and Mekhi Phifer. He is currently directing the much anticipated Fox Searhlight picture, Notorious about the life of rapper Notorious B.I.G..
