George Perez is an American comic book artist and writer.
Career
George Perez garnered the attention of comic book fans with his work on The Avengers in 1975. He stayed with the title and also worked on Fantastic Four until 1978.
Perez then moved to DC Comics, where he penciled the successful New Teen Titans series. He also drew the Crisis on Infinite Earths miniseries, which rearranged the origins of every DC character.
As a writer and artist, Perez revamped the Wonder Woman series in 1987. He also worked on several Superman titles before leaving DC in the early 1990s. Presently, he continues to contribute artwork for both Marvel and DC.
