    The university has over 100 degree programs, as well as graduate and professional programs. George Mason features nine schools and colleges: education and human development, health and human services, humanities and social sciences, management, public policy, science, visual and performing arts, the institute for conflict analysis and resoultion, and the Volgenau school of information technology and engineering.
