George Lucas' Lucasfilm, is suing Andrew Ainsworth, the costume designer responsible for creating the famous Stormtrooper uniform for Lucas' Star Wars movies, for a reported £10m. The lawsuit is to determine who owns the copyright for the uniforms. Ainsworth lawyers are claiming that the copyright that was issued to Lucasfilm has expired, giving the costume designer rights to merchandise the costumes, which he has sold to individuals for up to £1,800 each.
