Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 is the sequel to the very successful 2005 Xbox 360 game Retro Evolved.Joystiq: And the best Xbox 360 launch title is... (November 20, 2005) The game was showcased during Microsoft's keynote at E3 2008 on July 14, 2008. In the video they showed, it appears there were four ships flying around in a local multiplayer game.Joystiq: Geometry Wars 2 available Aug 6, features 4-player modes (July 14, 2008) In the previous installment, there was no multiplayer, allowing only one ship on the screen at any given time.
