Geoff Johns is a popular American comic book writer. Johns has contributed scripts to DC Comics' JSA, The Flash and Teen Titans.
Johns began his comic book writing career with the DC Comics title Star Spangled Comics and Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E., a book based on the second Star-Spangled Kid and her stepfather.
In 2002, he joined David S. Goyer as co-writer of the JSA, and in 2003, relaunched the Teen Titans for DC. In 2005, Johns scripted the DC crossover event Infinite Crisis and became one of four writers, along with Mark Waid, Grant Morrison and Greg Rucka, to helm the landmark weekly comic 52. In August 2007, Johns and co-writer Jeff Katz relaunched the popular Booster Gold series.
Johns shares a writing studio, called The Empath Magic Tree House, with writers Jeph Loeb and Allan Heinberg.
