General Tso's chicken is a popular dish served at many Asian restaurants. The dish features breaded chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce, made with sugar and dried chili peppers.

- Corn oil
- Cornstarch
- Egg, beaten
- Boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into large chunks
- Soy sauce
- Water
- Ginger, minced
- Rice vinegar
- Garlic, minced
- Dried red pepper flakes
- Dried hot chili peppers

How to Make General Tso's Chicken
- Heat the corn oil in a wok or deep frying pan.
- Mix the cornstarch and egg in a medium bowl.
- Add the chicken chunks to the egg mixture, then place chicken into the hot oil.
- Fry the chicken for four to five minutes or until browned. Drain chicken on paper towels.
- Mix the soy sauce, water, ginger, rice vinegar and garlic in a small bowl.
- Carefully discard the oil, reserving one tablespoon in the pan.
- Add the red pepper flakes and chili peppers to the oil and fry for one minute, stirring frequently.
- Add the chicken and sauce to the pan. Cook for two to three minutes.
- Serve over rice, if desired, and enjoy.
