A guy imitating the Dukes of Hazard drifts in a General Lee muscle car around a busy roundabout, just inches from parked and driving cars. Even though the video was first uploaded to YouTube in 2006, it recently got the attention of YouTube visitors, leading to thousands of views, and much speculation on the location and origin of the drift. It was agreed that the footage is not from movie filming, as the Dukes never drove in a busy roundabout like this, but it was filmed on purpose, with a 'director' callin 'cut' at the end.

Background
The General Lee is a Dodge Charger muscle car, which was introduced by manufacturer Chrysler Corporation in 1969. The General Lee was featured in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. The car had the doors welded up (apparently for aerodynamics), having the dukes enter the car sliding though the open windows. The Lee is painted orange, with a big '01' on the side, and a Confederate flag on the roof.http://www.generalleefanclub.com/

Taking a roundabout Duke Style
A warning is at place here: "Don't try this at home"!
This short video shows how the Dukes would have driven in nowadays traffic, drifing through a roundabout at full speed. Pay extra attention to how he JUST misses the parked cars.
