General Hospital (aka GH) is an American daytime soap opera. The action centers on Port Charles, a coastal community in New York. The show used to focus mainly on the goings on in Port Charles' General Hospital, but now the focus is on the Quartermaine family, their business, and the underworld personified by the character of Sonny Corinthos. Famous past story lines involve the tumultuous relationship of Luke and Laura Spencer and their son Lucky.
