    Her career started with the hindi film "Tujhe Meri Khsam" oposite Ritesh Deshmukh.Then she entered the Tollywood by starring in "Satyam" which was a big hit.After that she acted in "Happy", "Sye", "Subash Chandra Bose" but they didn't help her.Finally her role in the movie "Bommarillu" earned critical acclaim and made her a star .she also played the lead role in the tamil remake of the movie which again turned out to be a super hit.In Bollywood after some fruitless attempts, her final breakthrough was through the blockbuster "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na"in hich she played the role of Aditi.She won many accolades for her performance in the film and became one of the top actresses of Bollywood. She is the brand ambassador for 'Fanta and 'Perk' in India.
