  • In early 2008, a sex tape featuring Kiss bassist Gene Simmons appeared on the Internet. Simmons is also the star of the reality show, Gene Simmons Family Jewels.

  • The Tape

    The tape shows Simmons in various familiar activities with an unidentified blonde woman, with neither party showing much excitement. The tape was reportedly made by a model named Traci Anna Koval, and many have speculated that it is Korval who appears in the video. Simmons denies involvement with its release.

  • Implications

    On an episode of his reality show broadcast March 18, 2008, Simmons took a lie detector test. When asked if he has been faithful to longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed since they have been together, Simmons answered that he had, and no deception was indicated. The operant definition of 'faithful' is uncertain, however, because the relationship of Simmons and Tweed is committed but non-monogamous.
