Origin
The original Gen13 team was comprised of five mutants that escaped a government internment facility. Led by mentor John Lynch, the group's adventures often focused on their mysterious pasts. Unfortunately, the only way Gen13 could acquire such knowledge was to constantly confront the agency that interned them.In 2006, when Wildstorm reset the origins to all its characters, Gen13 members were rewritten as genetic experiments altered at birth by the government agency. With the reset, the Gen13 characters also had their personalities slightly modified as well.
