While Peter Beaumont was cooking his dinner, he discovered a tiny gecko in the tiny shell of an egg.
The gecko was embedded in the in the interior of the shell between the eggs membrane. Beaumont believes that this discovery may be a salmonella breakthrough.
They hypothesize that the salmonella bacteria gets into the chicken before the egg is laid. This is the worlds first discovery of a gecko inside of an egg.
