The Combustible Map Pack is a set of new maps for the multiplayer modes in Gears of War 2, a first-person shooter for the Xbox 360. The pack includes three maps: Flood, Gold Rush and Fuel Station. The Combustible Map Pack was announced at the Spike Video Game Awards and was made available on Monday, December 15, 2008. Combustible Maps
- Flood: Flood features an environmental hazard in the middle of the map. A rising tide of Imulsion, the liquid that the Locust thrive on, will build up over the course of a match, forcing players into close proximiy and possibly resulting in some intense chainsaw duels. - Gold Rush: Gold Rush is a multi-level map that takes place in an Imulsion factory. It was originally released with the PC version of the original Gears of War.
- Fuel Station: Perhaps inspired by the old Gears of War map Fuel Depot, Fuel Station pits players against each other as they battle around an abandoned refueling center.
