Gears of War 2 Story
Gears of War 2 begins six months after the detonation of the Lightmass Bomb at the end of Gears of War. In addition to destroying most of the Horde had the downside of spreading a vicious lung disease among much of the remaining human population. Meanwhile, Marcus Fenix and his COGs lead a counterattack against the Locusts to prevent the fall of one of the last human strongholds.
