General Electric (GE) aired a new commercial during Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009. The ad featured the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz singing "If I Only Had a Brain" and showcased their new "Ecomagination" campaign.

The Commercial
The General Electric ad will feature a computer generated Scarecrow singing "If I Only Had A Brain" from The Wizard of Oz. The commercial is to promote GE's new "Smart Grid" technology, which makes power grids more efficient by using computers. They have incorporated President Barack Obama's theme of new ways to harness and use energy, naming their new project "Ecomagination."
