Gay Superhero Stan Lee

Showtime and Stan Lee's Pow! Entertainment will be co-producing a series about a gay superhero struggling to hide his secret identity and sexuality. The hour-long series will be based on the book Hero by Perry Moore.Variety: Showtime Enlists Gay Superhero (November 12, 2008)

Hal Creed was a popular superhero and a member of the League, but went into exile after his wife died. Hal's son, Thom, is a high school basketball star trying to live up to his father's expectations. However, Thom is keeping two things secret from his father, that he is developing his own superpowers, and that he is gay.
