  • Gavin Newsom has been the mayor of San Francisco since 2004. Before becoming mayor, Newsom started a company called PlumpJack Associates L.P. Newsom's first job in politics was under Willie Lewis Brown, Jr., who appointed him to a vacant seat on the Parking and Traffic Commission for the city.

  • Terry Childs Incident
