Gator Bowl

The Gator Bowl is an annual, post-season college football bowl game. The game hosts one team from the SEC and one team from the Big Ten. Each Gator Bowl is held in early January at the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.http://www.gatorbowl.com/

2010 Gator Bowl

The 2010 Gator Bowl marked the final football game for Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden. The Seminoles' opponent was the number-16 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers. Florida State would pull off the upset over West Virginia, winning 33-21. Running back Jermaine Thomas ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns for the Seminoles. The MVP of the game was Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel, who had 189 yards passing and ran for a touchdown.
