The sitcom Gary Unmarried follows Gary Brooks (played by Jay Mohr), a recently divorced father as he puts his life back together and enters the dating pool. The series focuses on his relationships with his ex-wife, two teenage children and his new love interest.
Gary Unmarried was created by former stand-up comedian Al Madrigal. Madrigal also appeared on the CBS sitcom Welcome to the Captain. The program moved to Mondays nights on October 27, 2008.TV Guide: Gary No Longer Married to Wednesday Night (October 23, 2008)
