Gary Allan is a popular country music singer whose sounds borrows heavily from the "Bakersfield Sound" of artists like Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. His debut album, Used Heart for Sale, was released in 1997. It was named "Best of the Month" by Stereo Review. It climbed into the top 20 of the charts. It produced the hit song "Her Man," which became a top 10 hit. Since then, Allan has released seven more albums, released over 20 singles and had 10 top 10 hits.
Allan's biggest hits include "Smoke Rings in the Dark," "Man of Me," "Tough Little Boys," "Songs About Rain," "Nothing On but the Radio," "Best I Ever Had" and "Life Ain't Always Beautiful."
