Garth Brooks Ends Retirement

  • County music singer Garth Brooks announced on October 15, 2009, that he is coming out of retirement during a press conference in Nashville, Tennessee.     Brooks says he will put on a series of acoustic shows at the at the Wynn Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The shows will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning on December 11, 2009. Brooks will perform in the Wynn's Encore Theater, which has a capacity of 1500. Tickets for the first Las Vegas shows went on sale on Saturday, October 24, 2009.   • Garth Brooks' Wynn Show Dates

    Several dates for Brooks' extended run at the Wynn in Las Vegas have been announced. Brooks will perform in the Wynn's Encore Theater on the following dates:

    • December 11, 12, 13
    • January 1, 2, 3 and 22, 23, 24
    • February 12, 13, 14 and 26, 27, 28
    • Shows will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Show times are as follows:
    • Friday at 8 p.m. PST
    • Saturday 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. PST
