The animated musical special Garfield Christmas originally aired on CBS on December 21, 1987. The special airs on ABC Family in December 2008, for the first time in eight years.
Garfield Christmas finds Garfield, the cat, Odie and Jon at the home of Jon's parents for the Christmas holiday, where Garfield learns what Christmas is really all about.
