Gardner-Webb University is a private Baptist liberal arts university that offers associates, bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.
History
Founded in 1905 as the Boiling Springs High School, Gardner-Webb became a junior college in 1928 and a four-year institution in 1993. It was named after O. Max Gardner and his wife, Fay Webb Gardner in 1942 in honor of their devotion of time and their financial support.Gardner-Webb University: History

The main campus of 200 acres is located in Boiling Springs and there are an additional 16 satellite campuses located throughout North Carolina.
