Luxury Stay
One of the most well-rated and popular, luxury hotels in Galway is the Hotel Meyrick, formally called the Great Southern Hotel. The location can't be beat, right in Eyre Square. They claim that they are "the best address in Galway City." The "luxurious" rooms have been restored and include the basic amenities such as 24-hour room service, internet access, complementary newspapers and large bathrooms. There are three dining options, including a fine-dining restaurant and a bar and late-night lounge. Like many luxury hotels, the Meyrick also offers guest access to a spa and health club; from the outdoor hot tub to the "monsoon showers" and "hydrotherapy baths," there is a way to relax for everyone. -
Moderate Stay
The Jurys Inn Galway has accommodations in many price ranges at a central location. They have 130 rooms, many with river views, available with basic in-room amenities. They are large enough for three adults or two adults and two children. A short walk away is Galway's shopping district, restaurants and bars and many attractions. -
Affordable Stay
Budget lodging in Galway is usually a bed and breakfast and hostels; one great example is the Devondell Bed & Breakfast. They are well-rated, only about a mile from the city center and rates start at just 40 euros. They boast a "relaxed friendly atmosphere" with an "extensive breakfast menu." Guest rooms come equipped with televisions and bathrooms. Guests also have access to private tours and transportation to the surrounding areas.Mahalo Suggests
