Galilea Montijo

Galilea Montijo is a Mexican television actress and host.

Montijo is a popular actress and host in Mexico, where she won the La Chica TV contest in 1993. She would follow up that success with starring roles on several telenovelas. In 2002, she starred in the reality television show Big Brother VIP Mexico where she emerged as the winner of the competition. She also appeared in the reality show Bailando por un Sueno which is inspired by the American television series Dancing With The Stars.

Galilea Montijo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on June 5, 1973. She besides her acting roles, she is recognized for being a host on Ritmoson Latin Television network and as a presenter at the Latin Grammy Awards. She gained unwanted notoriety for being incorrectly identified as the star of a sex video in 2007. The star of the video was porn actress Monique Fuentes.
