Galactic Empire State of Mind is a Star Wars spoof video of Collegehumor, featuring Vader and princess Leia covering Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, commenting on the storyline of the Star Wars series.

The video is accompanied by fragments from the original three Star Wars series, and features several characters from the movies, including R2D2 and C3PO, rebel pilots, Ewoks, Wookies and Stormtroopers dancing to the music, as Vader raps, and Leia sings and plays a modern version of a piano, doubling up as DJ, wearing the white dress from 'A New Hope", later in her sexy 'slave outfit', on the dance floor.

As with most videos by Collegehumor, the video has been produced with high quality sets and attributes. The lyrics (see below) are funny, and cleverly link in with the original texts of Empire state of Mind. They cover all three original movies, with each movie being covered in one of the verses. The complete lyrics can be found below the videos, and are well worth a read.

The video, which was uploaded to YouTube on May 5, 2010 after previously having been featured on their own website, was viewed over 400,000 times within days after being released, has received well over21,000 'likes', and has quickly earned several top rankings, including #1 most favorited (both overall and for music), and was one of the top 10 most viewed videos on youtube.com overall in its first few days after release.
