Story
Dark Avatar picks up where Galactic Civilizations II Dread Lords left off. The Drengin Empire has taken control of the universe and is continuing its conquest. Krindar I'Agohl, leader of a specialist military faction, has called for the extinction of all non-Drengin races. You are faced with the task of freeing the universe while solving the mysteries of the universe. -
Gameplay
Dark Avatar follows all the basic principles of turn-based strategy games. Some of the new features included in the expansion pack are: New ship parts, more mineable resources (e.g., asteroids, improved graphics, improved artificial intelligence, new tech tree technologies). Much of the style of gameplay can be traced to Civilization IV, and StarCraft. With new features, improved artificial intelligence and graphics, it delivers more options for players, as well as an added storyline. -
