Gaggle.net is a website that provides filtered e-mail services for students with parental and teacher overview. The service is provided completely online as a web-based application. In March of 2008 the site won the BESSIE Award for Middle School in the Communication category.

Initially built as an email service, Gaggle.net has added more functionality to its website. Additional service include blogs, chat rooms, message boards and profile pages. All features are filtered and monitored, just like the email service.
