Gaetano Oteri, otherwise known as Tom, managed the musical career of his friend and publishing company co-owner Richard Fagan. He is the father of Saturday Night Live comedian Cheri Oteri.

Oteri was found dead on the floor of the home he shared with Richard Fagan on Sunday, April 27, 2008. A knife gash on his wrist is the unsubstantiated cause of death. His business partner and roommate Fagan was arrested and charged with criminal homicide in the stabbing death.
