Gabrielle Union is an African-American actress who has appeared in television series and films.

Union was married to NFL's Chris Howard from 2001-2005. She also dated another sport icon, basketball player Jason Kidd while she was in high school. -
Early Career
Union attended high school in Pleasonton, California where she participated in soccer, basketball and track. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Sociology. While interning at a model agency, she was offered a job modeling with them. Eventually she moved into acting with minor roles in teen-focused films such as 10 Things I Hate About You and She's All That. Her most successful role to date was as Will Smith's love interest in the action-comedy Bad Boys 2. -
