The 18-year-old student's early exit from the competition came as a surprise. While she was in the ANTM house, Kniery said she wanted to represent biracial models in a positive light and hoped to help break down barriers they faced in the industry. Both she and Angelea Johnson were of mixed race, and Kniery was happy that there was room for both of them in the final group of girls. The St. Louis, Missouri native says her passion for the fashion industry doesn't end at modeling. Though Kniery will continue to pursue modeling full time, she says that when she can no longer work as a model she wants to stay in the fashion industry.
