The Futuro house is a prefab house designed by Matti Suuronen from Finland in the 1960s. After completion of the design, approx. 100 were built during the 1960s and 1970s. The unit was designed to be easily constructed, even in rough terrain. The walls were molded out of fiberglass and plastic. 16 pieces total were involved in constructing the roof and the floor. A drop-down door was also a standard feature.
