Funny crop circles are photoshopped or doctored photos of fields with humorous "crop circles" though some have really been made on actual land.

Crop Circles are pattens made by flattening fields of crops. The designs range range from simple shapes to elaborate geometrical formations. The formations are so large that they must be photographed from above. These patterns are usually an undertaking of pranksters but when no-one confesses to the hoax, speculation leans toward the theory that the crop circles were created by UFOs.

The phenomena of crop circles has been the basis for Hollywood movies like Signs and has become a part of pop culture. In September 2009 Google changed their logo to feature a crop circle. The popular online Facebook game Farmville introduced Farmville Crop Circles that same year (along with some flying saucers and green cows.)
