Funimagesworld.com, like Crazypicssite.com is not a real website, but is an Internet phishing scam. Unlike past scams, Funimagesworld.com is a working URL, but it should be avoided, as it runs malicious code that makes it difficult to leave the site. The scam itself works through phony messages or bulletin posts sent to MySpace users, claiming that pictures of the recipient can be seen at Funimagesworld.com. MySpace users click a link that taking them to a false login page, where their MySpace login data is collected. The phisher's main goal is to acquire cell phone numbers to provide "free" ringtones. Users later discover that they have been charged $9.95 for the ringtones.
