  • Fu Manchu is a hard rock band from Southern California. Along with Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age, the band has been instrumental in the revival of 1970s metal and blues-based hard rock, a movement that has been dubbed "Stoner-Rock." While the label lends itself to stereotypes, it seems apt for Fu Manchu, whose dude-friendly high-octane sound perfectly evokes a Southern California lifestyle of hot rods, surfing, and Black Sabbath. Fu Manchu released its tenth full length album We Must Obey in February, 2007.
