FSU Suspends Players

- 36 players will not be traveling with the team due to academic cheating investigation, violations of team rules, injuries or other reasons
- 13 of those do not regularly travel with the team
- Federal privacy rules prohibit the school from releasing the names of the players
- The Learning Specialist and tutor involved in the scandal were fired
- Involved players will not play in the Music City Bowl

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Florida State University will suspend 23 football players for abuse of testing procedures during an online music history course. The football players in question are expected to miss 3 games, including the upcoming Music City Bowl against Kentucky.
